Penghargaan Golden Globe 2023 akhirnya selesai digelar pada Rabu (11/1/2023) WIB di mana para pemenang dari setiap kategori telah diumumkan. Siapa saja mereka?
IDWS, Rabu, 11 Januari 2023 - Penghargaan Golden Globe ke-80 ini terhitung spesial karena gelaran kali ini mencoba untuk mengembalikan kembali reputasinya yang sempat dicoreng oleh skandal rasisme setelah Los Angeles Times mengungkapkan bagaimana seluruh jurnalis dari Hollywood Foreign Press yang berjumlah 87 orang pada gelaran tahun 2021 tidak ada yang berkulit hitam, membuat Tom Cruise mengembalikan piala penghargaan yang ia terima dan NBC tidak menyiarkan acara tersebut.
Golden Globe Awards 2023 digelar di Beverly Hilton, Amerika Serikat dan diselenggarakan oleh Holywood Foreign Press Association (HFPA). Film "The Fabelmans" keluar sebagai pemenang kategori prestise, Best Motion Picture - Drama, dan film "The Banshees of Inisherin" meraih Best Motion Picture - Musical or Comedy.
Di sisi lain, serial "House of the Dragon" menjadi pemenang kategori Best Television Series - Drama dan "Abbott Elementary" sebagai Best Television Series - Musical or Comedy. Dari sisi individu, Steven Spielberg keluar sebagai peraih penghargaan Best Director - Motion Picture.
